Bartender is a software solution that is used for automating the creation of labels, barcodes and more. It works together with a viarity of applications and is mostly used in production environments. Would love to see this application in Patch My PC because this would make our life a lot easier!

After extensive testing, we've encountered frequent and inconsistent installation issues with BarTender, largely due to its complex dependency requirements (e.g., SQL Server 2019, .NET components). Additionally, the vendor explicitly states:
"BarTender is not compatible with remote deployment tools such as PSEXEC, SCCM, InTune, or other software designed to streamline the installation of software on many computers.
This software may work in some circumstances, but it can result in unexpected behavior and we do not recommend or support it."
Given these challenges, we've marked BarTender as "Future Consideration" on our roadmap. We plan to revisit it once ScriptRunner supports PSADT-style pre/post scripting, which would give us better control over these scenarios.
While this may be disappointing, we believe it's the most customer-centric decision to avoid deploying a solution that could lead to frustration.

Looking into this, as of now it does not seem possible to update from prior major releases (e.g. 2021) to the latest version

As far as I know, there are several barcode software and labeling solutions available in the market. But Bartender 2021 provides users with a wide range of label design tools, including support for multiple fonts, colors, and graphics. It also supports a wide range of barcodes, including 1D, 2D, and composite codes.
