On your ideas form, when selecting forgot password, open a in a new window so that the form isn't cleared and the idea is lost for the purpose of the password reset.
Thanks for calling this out — that’s a totally fair UX concern, and I can see how losing an in‑progress idea during a password reset would be frustrating.
Unfortunately, this behavior is part of Aha!’s idea submission experience itself, and not something we’re able to control or customize on our side. The password reset flow and how it opens (same window vs. new window) are handled entirely by Aha!.
That said, this is good feedback and something that would be best raised directly with the Aha! Product Team as a product enhancement request. We’re happy to support or reinforce that feedback where appropriate.
