The XML also contains applicability rules, and detection rules, so you don't even have to work those out. How often do you get this handed to you on a plate?
I realize the Dell Command Update has probably taken over the task of keeping Dell systems updated, but for some of us, we still use the Dell 3rd Party Catalog in ConfigMgr to not only help scan (metadata) but also deliver/deploy the updates under more control.

Read the XML file "DellSDPCatalogPC.xml", it contains all relevant metadata including the direct download to the MSI e.g. https://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER14436221M/1/DSIAPC_13.9.0.192.msi which was released 2026-04-23
