Currently PMP packages only cover Mozilla Firefox installs that are installed to C:\Program Files\ location and they do not work for installs where a user has installed Mozilla to their local profile instead. Please add this option to patch user profile based Mozilla FireFox installs so that all security updates can be applied in a timely manner.
As stewards of Powershell App Deploy Toolkit, which has capabilities to interact with user profiles, I would think PMPC should already be addressing this glaring security hole with both Firefox and Chrome that do this still user profile installation. We are failing security scans because PMPC is not doing what we need it to do.
Hi! On the update-side, if you're looking for an SCCM's software update, as per information from the FAQ, it's not possible to generate WSUS-backed updates for per-user installs. See Are User Based Applications supported?.
Else, I'll let the devs at PatchMyPC evaluate your idea.
