I have a particular need to sort products into custom severity groups. I was wondering if it would be possible in the future to have the PatchMyPC tool actually populate the custom severity field in ConfigMgr for a product, for each of its releases. E.g. If I set "low" severity for Google Chrome, every update issued for Chrome is tagged with a "low" custom severity.
As an example of the use case, I would like to set up two ADRs:
1. Non-Critical - Filtered on the "Low" severity. Requires no testing, and can be published/installed any time (no MW required):
Chrome, Firefox, VS Code, Git, 7-Zip, etc
2. Critical - Filtered on the "High" severity. Needs testing, timed deployment:
Visual Studio, WireShark, DisplayLink, etc
It would be a lot easier to create 2 ADR's sorting by the Custom Severity field, than by creating 2 for that are filtered by over a hundred individual products.
