It's important for us to publish Application in Norwegian when it is an option(Firefox, Chrome, Adobe Reader, etc) . Need this option for Patch My PC before we can use it in Our environment.
Norwegian speaker here - nn-NO is written and spoken by a small percentage (around 10 %) of the country from a small, geographical area.
The default language for all of software in Norway is always nb-NO, so I would highly recommend to go with nb-NO for all software and applications.
For context - I'd rather have English than nn-NO. I imagine that most Norwegians would find it annoying if the only option was nn-NO, seeing as most of the country does not use it at all and is unfamiliar with the sentence structure, grammar and so on.
So we shipped Firefox recently for nn-NO language, and have been notified that nb-NO would have been a better option. We are currently at 64 unique Firefox updates in the catalog, and aren't keen on adding more. Can we please get some feedback on removing nn-NO and replacing it with nb-NO?
Makes a lot of sense, We'll switch out nn-NO for nb-NO.
