Unsupported / EoL software

I've found a few applications such as Python which are supported by PMPC but only certain versions. The impact of this is that we can have 3 versions:

3.10

3.11

3.12

Both 11/12 will be shown as needing patches but 3.10 will be ignored and set as compliant. While I understand the packages are no longer maintained it would be great to have a report of software which is known to be EoL (End of Life) which would flag these up for manual intervention.

Eager to hear other peoples views on this too.

    Thank you for the suggestion. This is tricky to implement with such a large dataset and still be reliable and scale well. We are looking into this but don't have a solution yet.
