Currently the OS Uptime report, shows all systems and their uptime, however this is not necessarily correct. Need filter for inactive or offline systems.
Looked at one employee where he has two systems, one system that stays in the office the other he uses for travel. The office is currently online reporting an uptime of 1d 5h 57m the other which was offline and in his back had last reported HINV 15d days ago is reporting an uptime of 19d 3h 28m.
Would like to see an option to filter out all offline systems as the data is erroneous and not truly a reflection of the devices uptime.
Collection filtering to remove offline machines is the approach we suggest. You can build a collection that has reported inventory within a certain # of days and use that to filter out the rest. However, we have added an item to our development backlog to investigate whether we can add a filter for offline/inactive systems. Thank you!
Collection filtering doesn't solve the issue of looking at an individual device's modal where the uptime is incorrect.
