With Microsoft pushing all VDI users to use new Teams by September 30, 2024, Citrix has developed a new optimization method with Microsoft that requires a plugin be installed on all endpoints to leverage the new optimization method. This plugin appears to be updated on some schedule as the version we deployed via Intune on August 1, 2024 was 2024.28.1.7 and the version available via the link below on September 3, 2024 is 2024.32.1.2. As neither Citrix nor Microsoft have provided any guidance on updating this component and the fact that there have been obvious versions in-between the two versions and dates above, I have to believe there are fixes in the new versions that aren't being communicated that would indicate that updating and managing the versions would be advantageous.
