Sometimes I want to scan the DB only for products we have enabled, but no longer need to deploy. However, I can't sort the list by what is enabled (like I can with vendor/product/count). I have to export the list and sort the CSV, then go back to the GUI to disable them. It would be nice to be able to do everything in the GUI.
Publisher now has a Show selected products filter in the product list. You can use it to display the products you’ve enabled, find the ones you no longer need, and deselect them directly in the UI without exporting and sorting a CSV.
This addresses the workflow you described, so we’re marking the idea as addressed. The filter was introduced in Publisher version 2.1.36.90. Thanks again for helping us improve Publisher!
Hi, thank you, this is helpful. However, I should have been more clear as to where I meant for it to be. It is under WSUS Updates > Scan ConfigMgr. Here I can see which enabled products have a count greater than 0. That helps inform whether to disable it or not. I also like this location because I can still export a CSV if needed for change controls. I am not sure if I need to open a new idea for this?
