The good point about this software, is that this requirement will disappear from itself now in 3 years, no? Once the SAP backends themselves relying on SAP GUI, will go end-of-support, and your company in panic mode if you are still reading this post in 2027.

Then you will be able to drop your "SAP GUI Admin Share" this day as well :-)

    (yes, I am overoptimistic).

Even we are looking for SAP package. It will be great if PMPC could support with this request.

Maybe it can be done like for thinkcell or others, put the updates to a location, where PatchMyPC can grab it. At least the latest SAP GUI version is documented here:

Can't see this happen. Every company should have their own SAP GUI Admin Share with their own specific settings and then you generate your single file installer.

Secondly it's heavily behind a pay wall. So PMPC would need to pay to get the sources to then be able to generate a package. Doesn't seem possible.

    Just my 2 cents.

@Cory, that would be the idea. We're focusing on some products that won't have these limitations first.

This is not good news, maybe make this like the offline installer like you did for java?

Switching this to Future Consideration now. We will likely add this product eventually, but we're going to have to figure out the complexities of providing it. We'll follow up at a later date.
