I would like an option to have Patch My PC to not create a shortcut for itself when it itself updates. Currently wen the Patch My PC home updater updates, it puts a new shortcut for itself on the desktop even with the setting in the above mentioned idea is enabled.
This was resolved in the installer for 5.2.1.1 of the MSI. We won't add a shortcut on upgrade if it doesn't already exist.
