DellClientManagementService is deleted when the Dell Command | Update v5.4 to Dell Command | Update v5.5 upgrade takes place when .NET 8 is not installed on the client (Upgrade & Fresh Install): DCU 5.5 needs .NET 8 for a successful installation. Otherwise, the installation will rollback and the previous version of Dell Command Update will be removed. .NET 8 is a prerequisite for the installation of Dell Command | Update v5.5.

Yes, this caught me out over the weekend with the upgrade to Dell Command Update Classic 5.5.0.
90% failure rate for thousands of devices is not a great start to the week. :-)
