Support using the SQL Listener when connecting to a CM DB configured in SQL Always On High Availability
Currently you can only use the server DB name however in SQL AO the server may be the passive node. Being able to use the Listener name will automatically connect to the active node.

Hi Roberto, you should already be able to specify the listener name to connect to the database, if this is not working for you please raise a support call. Also, we are aware of a fairly niche issue if your AG Group spans across different subnets and have a new feature coming soon that will allow you to add your own custom connection string to the database, in case you need to supply other parameters such as MultiSubnetFailover=True.
