Search 'Managed Devices' with IP address

I was wondering if it would be a light lift to add the ability to search a 'Managed Device' by IP address. We're aware of the information inside the 'network' node of the device so I was hoping it'd be easy-ish to add. The need would be my network team asking 'what device is <ip address>' ... sometimes we can use nslookup depending on school district/setup ... sometimes I can review dhcp/dns to figure it out ... but would be super cool if I could just tell them 'go search in advanced insights!'
