Its always a fight with the sec team to get everything needed opened if there was just like one domain/pmpc hosted it would be easier to convince them todo so
Marking this as a no-go, Patch My PC hosting the updates would not improve the security of the updates delivered (see deep-dive below). I also see issues with this both legally and in terms of the amount of workload this would create.
