"Who will rid me of this turbulent persistent pop-up"

Definition: A persistent pop-up that resists normal closing methods is typically called adware or a malicious browser notification. When it completely traps your screen or refuses to go away, it is also referred to as an unclosable pop-up, browser locker, or scareware.

While I fully appreciate the perceived security threat, the iron fist of compliance, and the need to simplify maintenance management, that all take precedence over user useability / productivity do we really need to put up with a draconian pop up, dominating 1/6th of the screen, and so persistent that even removing all other monitors, forcing the laptop screen as Primary, and reconnecting the monitors, it comes back to the biggest central screen – oh and it isn’t a browser notification so can’t disable it that way but it sure feels like a McAfee AV scam alert…

Why can’t we hide the notification AND then re-enable/activate it at our pleasure.
