Many of our customers do not use Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune. But, they still need reliable application patching and software management.
For these customers, the Patch My PC Home Agent would be an ideal solution. We would therefore like to see the Home Agent functionality made available in the Business Edition, either as a standalone agent or as an additional deployment option.
This would enable partners and IT service providers to:
Manage patching on devices without Intune or Configuration Manager
Support smaller customers with limited infrastructure
Deploy and manage applications through a lightweight agent
Provide consistent third-party patch management across different customer environments
Offer Patch My PC to a broader range of businesses
An agent-based Business Edition would significantly expand the possible use cases for Patch My PC and provide an excellent solution for customers who need modern patch management without implementing a complete endpoint management platform.
