We would like applications to be directly linked to the devices and users where they are installed.
This would allow administrators to:
See exactly which devices have a specific application installed.
View the total number of devices affected by an application.
Identify the users associated with those devices.
Easily assess the impact before uninstalling or retiring an application.
Select an application and immediately see which users and / or devices would be affected by its removal.
Start from a device and view all applications installed on that device.
Currently, the Intune Cloud analytics and reporting provide valuable application information, but they do not offer a clear relationship between applications, devices, and users for impact analysis and uninstall planning.
Adding this functionality would significantly improve application lifecycle management, change planning, and risk assessment before software removal or migration.

This feature would help IT administrators make informed decisions when removing or replacing applications, reducing the risk of impacting users unexpectedly and improving overall software management visibility across the environment.
