Publisher customers need control over which processor architectures a WSUS application or update applies to when it is published.
By default, x64 content should not automatically be considered applicable to ARM64 devices. Some x64 applications work correctly through Windows emulation, however, so customers need an explicit way to opt compatible x64 updates into ARM64 applicability.
Requested behavior
Add an Applicable architectures choice for WSUS applications and updates.
Keep x64 content excluded from ARM64 devices by default.
Allow customers to explicitly include ARM64 applicability for compatible x64 updates.
When ARM64 is selected, include the ARM64 PackageID in the WSUS update XML prerequisites before publishing.
This is a WSUS-specific follow-on to PATCHMYPC-I-6792, which represents the broader shipped Publisher ARM architecture capability.
