Today it is possible to set right click options at the All Products level and create overrides at the product or vendor level.
If a product or vendor level change was made to e.g. Manage assignments, and then made a change to the same right click option at the All Products level, inheritance will re-apply down the tree and clobber all previously (and carefully) set vendor or product customisations.
This request is to add a control which allows a user to prevent a product or vendor to be clobbered from inherited settings.
Thank you - I've noted this Feature Request and will discuss with the Development team if it's possible and should be taken into consideration or if more Clarification is needed.
This is super important for example if you have a sensitive Application which requires very different update timelines (assignments) than your top level default.
You are currently left with only 2 options:
Use only the assignment option configured on top level "All products" and try to find a common setting which is not always possible
Don't use top level configuration and manually configure assignments on every app (stupid time)
