The Java MSI is encoded as an Enterprise installed application. It also allows for additional parameters to be passed through, whereas the exe cannot process those and kicks back an error.
MSI parameters:

The Enterprise tag is visible in the MSI verbose install log (ENTERPRISE = YES) and the registry:
HKLM:\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\1.8.0_281
HKLM:\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\JavaSoft\Java Runtime Environment\1.8.0_281\MSI
Enterprise = Yes
I can also supply MSI installers if needed
Yes would definately like to have this as well, can be the same as the existing JRE installs where you have to provide the installer
