Control assignment of auto-published applications

When auto-publishing rules for updates/apps are created, Patch My PC will create the Win32 application in Intune, however it will not automatically assign the application. This means that it's difficult for MSPs to manage for a large number of clients.

The ability to have PMPC assign the auto-publish app to a specific group would be very beneficial.

I think dynamic assignments would be a solution to resolve the policy size problem. I created the following submission for this idea. https://ideas.patchmypc.com/ideas/PATCHMYPC-I-4586

Please vote on it if you agree with me.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Unfortunately NOT creating the assignments was a design decision. The concern here is policy size limits in Intune. We discuss this concern here.

Because of the risk of breaking all your Intune deployments to a device we opted to currently no create assignments for applications which are auto-enabled.
