The Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app is now available in the catalog.
We're currently using the free direct download available from Adobe at this location.
Please note that this method does not support any customizations. Adobe never makes things easy for us:)
This decision reflects a practical compromise, as our only viable options were to offer the free version or to exclude the application altogether.
IMPORTANT Notice: This package was NOT created via the Packages section of the Adobe Admin Console. Therefore, if you require features like Auto Update, Remote Update Manager, or any other customization, you’ll need to use our Custom Apps feature. Unfortunately, we're unable to track or detect individual customizations applied to Adobe Creative Cloud installations and this prevents us from adding customizations for this app to our standard catalog offering.
Please note that individual Adobe Creative Cloud applications—such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Dreamweaver, and others—will not be added to the PMPC catalog. This is due to several constraints:
Adobe login credentials are required to access & create custom installation binaries
Managing custom configurations tailored to each customer's unique requirements
WSUS schema limitations prevent importing applications larger than 2GB
Fortunately, these apps can still be managed using our Custom Apps feature, allowing for flexible deployments and control within your environment.

Good News! Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop has been added to the catalog as of yesterday - https://patchmypc.com/catalog-release/2025/09-18-25/
After creating an adobe creative cloud package in adobe i was then able to download this and then create a custom package in Patch My Pc Cloud, this has been successfully deployed to machines across my network. IT was done by zipping up the folders and then using the extract script to unpack them before installation of the software.
Adding Adobe Creative Cloud to our catalog is challenging for several reasons, including the need for Adobe login credentials to access binaries, managing custom configurations, and the inability to import apps over 2GB due to our current schema limitation in WSUS.
Similarly, the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App only supports silent installations when using binaries accessed through the Adobe login. The "free" download available here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/download/creative-cloud does not support silent installations.
On a positive note, Adobe Creative Cloud apps can be managed using Custom Apps within Publisher. I've personally tested the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App & Adobe Photoshop with no issues.
However, there is currently a bug in PMPC Cloud that causes errors when uploading folders containing multiple versions of the same file (e.g., setup.exe in multiple locations). I am hopeful this bug will be resolved soon.
TL;DR:
We won’t be adding Adobe Creative Cloud products to our existing catalog for the reasons mentioned above. However, Custom Apps can provide a viable workaround for our customers.
