Appreciate the work the team has made on this effort. Sadly, and this is not a reflection on the Patch My PC team, the HP solution is not a solution at all for large organizations like ours unless they want to a) install the HP Insight Agent on all their machines, b) grant full read-only access to Intune which would then allow HP to data mine our inventories and would give them a leg up over other vendors as they would see what other hardware we have in our environment.
We have already reached out to HP and made it known that we are not happy with Work Experience Platform and the requirement to install the Insights agent or grant read-only access to Intune. We should be able to just upload all the serials and have it return the warranty data. That is what most organizations want, the other stuff is fluff.

We'd love to include HP warranty data (several years ago this was actually possible) but at the moment HP STILL do not have an accessible API for warranty queries by third parties.
HP's legacy warranty API has been broken since 2019. However there is a new Enterprise API that is available to large account customers. Ideally we'd be able to get this new API available as a data source for Warranty Info for HP Fleets.
