    Also, the store app just installs the web app as a PWA - you can visit https://web.whatsapp.com/ and get the same experience, and a button should appear in your browser toolbar to install the site as an app.

    The EXE provided here https://www.whatsapp.com/download simply redirects to the Microsoft Store App which we are currently unable to support

    The WhatsApp Desktop app is no longer being updated by the vendor and was removed from their website. They recommend using the Microsoft Store app moving forward, unfortunately the Publisher does not currently support deploying MS Store apps at this time.
