Separate one-off sync to WSUS/Intune App/Intune Update

Like many I guess, we use the product to patch different environments - clients managed by Intune, servers on-prem patched by WSUS, usually with different app or patching requirements. It would be useful to be able to publish to, say, just WSUS, or just Intune Apps, as a one-off action.

Example scenario would be adding a new app to WSUS publishing - I want to add the app and set off the WSUS sync/publish so my app appears, without running the Intune App/Update publishing action. Publishing updates to Intune Updates will cause all scoped Intune devices to update, whereas we may want to keep them on their existing patch Tuesday cadence.

So perhaps a 'quick publish' button on each of the Updates, Intune Apps and Intune Updates pages could work?

Thanks.

I would add that I have tried doing this manually by unticking the Intune Apps and Intune Updates 'master' tick boxes, when adding my initial WSUS patches and performing first sync, which worked great - until i went back to the Intune tabs and realised all the config had gone and all our configured apps were unticked. DOH!
